The Union Minister Alphons Kannanthanam on Tuesday reportedly said that he is considering Apple's proposal to set up the manufacturing unit 'The Cupertino' in India. Also, Apple identified India has the fastest eyeing growth of iPhones and want to set up a factory for cost-cutting. According to media reports, Apple had sought concessions, duty exemption on manufacturing and repair units, components, capital equipment and consumables for 15 years.
