Power Finance Corporation on Tuesday reportedly sanctioned Rs 5,474 crore as a term loan to Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company (TANGEDCO). The loan is expected to be used for setting up two 800MW thermal power units. Both the power units are planned to be set up at Uppur, Ramanathapuram district.
