Police have reportedly arrested a man for killing his 21-year-old girlfriend after sexually assaulting her. The woman, a B.Sc graduate, from Kovilmedu near Coimbatore went missing last Monday, and her family launched a hunt in search of her. They complained to Saibaba Colony police when they couldn’t find her anywhere. During the investigation, police found that her boyfriend, Prasanth from Vinayagapuram, sexually assaulted, killed and buried her. The woman’s decomposed body has been retrieved, and police are investigating the matter, say reports.
