A Tamil Nadu farmers protesting in Delhi on Monday reportedly attempted to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills. Reports say the farmer from Paramathivelur of Namakkal district named Subramani alleged that he tried to kill himself in a bid draw the attention of the Central government which has not paid any attention to their protests so far. Reportedly, the farmer was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in Delhi where he is recovering.
