After the most awaited merger announcement, TN Chief Minister and the former CM O Paneerselvam have reportedly paid respect to the late CM J Jayalalithaa in her memorial at Marina. The two leaders shook hands and promised to work together without any trouble. O Paneerselvam is expected to swear in as the state’s deputy Chief Minister at 4:30 PM on Monday. An announcement about the expulsion of VK Sasikala will be made after a general council meeting, according to media reports.
