According to reports, the Tamil Nadu cabinet on Wednesday reportedly approved a hike in the prices of alcoholic drinks in order to increase the revenue of Tasmac. The costs of beer and brandy will be hiked by Rs 5 and Rs 12 respectively, say reports. Further, the cabinet, led by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy, also approved to implement the 7th pay commission recommendations.
