Stalin's first request to TN Governor

The DMK acting chief M.K. Stalin on Friday allegedly urged Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit to relieve the director general of police T K Rajendran from his post. Reportedly, Stalin wants to seek a judicial probe on tender violations in the procurement of walkie-talkies for the police department. TN Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has not reacted even after the issue was reported to Home Secretary. According to media reports, Stalin stated that the new governor would ensure transparency in administration.
