A 44-year-old man, Rajaram who went missing on Tuesday night was found dead in a narrow pipe lane in Virugambakkam on Thursday. Reportedly, Rajaram's wife complained to the police when her husband went missing. The neighbours did not notice the lane until they felt a foul smell coming from there. According to media reports, Rajaram always speaks over the phone from his terrace as the signal strength in the house will be poor. The Investigating officer suspects that he could have slipped from the roof terrace while on the phone. Police have registered it as an accidental fall and are investigating as it may also be a suicide.
