Police forces deployed at Coorg resort where Dhinakaran MLAs are staying

According to reports, Tamil Nadu police has deployed police personnel at the resort in Karnataka’s Coorg where AIADMK MLAs supporting TTV Dhinakaran are lodged at. This comes at a time when Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami-led AIADMK (Amma) faction on Tuesday annulled the appointment of V K Sasikala as the general secretary of the party, and also reportedly said that announcements and appointment by TTV Dhinakaran are invalid. Meanwhile, DMK working president and opposition leader M K Stalin on Tuesday reportedly said a case has been filed in the Madras High Court to direct Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao to order CM Palaniswami to prove his majority in the State Legislative Assembly.
