Pay Rs 25 lakh compensation to Anitha’s family: NCBC to TN govt

The National Commission Backward Classes has reportedly recommended to the Tamil Nadu government to pay a compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the family of medical aspirant Anitha, who committed suicide by hanging herself after failing to join medical course due to low NEET score. The NCBC deputy president L Murugan made this recommendation after officials from the commission conducted an enquiry with the family. The district collector has reportedly been ordered to submit an enquiry report within 15 days, say reports.
