In a desperate attempt to get rid of their daughters, parents from Thiruchuzhi in Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu reportedly tried to marry off both their daughters to the same man. The man, the brother of the girls’ mother, allegedly demanded to get married to both of them. The parents also agreed to his demand as an astrologer allegedly said that the man would get married twice. The second daughter (20) was however not interested in this wedding and allegedly warned the family that the groom (31) might end up in going behind bars. To the man’s disappointment, he ended up marrying only one bride, thanks to his bizzare wedding invitation which got circulated on social media and officials who acted.
