After the general council meeting on Tuesday, VK Sasikala has been sacked as AIADMK’s general secretary. The council also reportedly decided to scrap the general secretary position saying that it cannot be replaced by anyone after Jayalalithaa and MGR. Two new positions have been reportedly introduced, head coordinator and co-coordinator, which will be taken by O Panneerselvam and Edappadi K Palaniswami respectively. They also announced that the coordinator and co-coordinator have the rights to make changes in the policies of AIADMK. The coordinator will reportedly get all the authorities of the general secretary, according to media reports. All these announcements were made by TN Minister, RB Udayakumar.
