The Tamil Nadu school education directorate has on Thursday reportedly announced that no salary will be provided to the teachers who participated in the strike. The days when teachers were on a strike will be considered as unauthorised leave, it reportedly said. 43,508 teachers will be served notice for disciplinary action, the State government has reportedly said. The government has also reportedly warned of disciplinary action against teachers who are absent from work.
