After sending a legal notice to S P Balasubramaniam, the music composer Ilayaraja has sent notice to karaoke apps, those charge users to sing for karaoke. The Isai Gnani has sent letters to Smule and 15 other apps that give karaokes of Ilayaraja’s compositions. According to media reports, the copyrights consultant of Ilayaraja said that the maestro is only opposing to use his songs for monetary gains and that his songs are available for free on youtube.
