A 40-year-old bus conductor with the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) was allegedly killed after an overspeeding car ran over him. According to media reports, around 02:30 am on Sunday; the man reached Tambaram bus terminus after night duty. He and his friends were crossing the GST road when a speeding car hit him. He was declared brought dead to the Chromepet government hospital. Reportedly, traffic investigation wing registered a case against the car driver and arrested him.
