According to reports, a Trichy man allegedly stabbed his 19-year-old niece for refusing to marry him. The victim was identified as Yogalaxmi of Karunkadu village, studying BA second year at a private college in Trichy. However, Family members took Yogalaxmi to Government Hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case against Veerapillai and are on the lookout for him.
