Sidelined AIADMK general secretary, Sasikala was previously accused of bribing prison officials and getting special privileges inside Bengaluru prison. Further accusations were made that the prisoners who voiced against the special treatment given to her were beaten up and silenced. Following this, Karnataka Human Rights Commission investigated the matter and has submitted a report which confirmed the allegations made against her including bribery and beating up fellow prisoners, as reported by The Hindu Tamil. According to reports, CCTV footages show injured prisoners being taken to hospital.
