A government school building in Coimbatore reportedly collapsed on Tuesday morning. According to media reports, no one was in the school at the early hours when the incident happened, so no one was injured. Reportedly, the parents came to leave their children in school at 09:00 am and heard a massive thump of the roof falling from classes VI, VII and VIII. No official from the education department visited the school yet. Reportedly, the students have been made to sit under the tree to resume classes. The parents told the media that if no action is taken against the incident, they will start a massive protest.
