After the announcement of the most awaited merger, Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K Palaniswami reportedly said that he would work with the former CM to get back ‘irattai ilai’ and the party will stay united wholeheartedly to fulfil the wishes of the late CM J Jayalalithaa, according to reports. He also allegedly said that the factions’ reunion is a tight slap on the faces of people who tried to dissolve the party. The former Chief Minister O Paneerselvam will be taking charge as the Deputy Chief Minister, and he will also resume as Finance Minister. The swearing in ceremony will be held at the Raj Bhavan at 4:30 PM, on Monday.
