A 19-year-old was arrested in Coimbatore on Tuesday evening who allegedly raped his 13-year-old cousin multiple times. Reportedly the girl did not know that she was pregnant until she was taken to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital complaining about stomach pain. According to media reports, the girl did not inform her parents about the sexual abuse as she did not know what was happening. The baby died inside her womb as the teen was too young to carry a baby. The girl's parents filed a complaint at the Thudiyalur police station, and the boy was arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
