Kausalya, a 19-year-old, born mentally challenged was allegedly killed by her father who is an auto driver on Wednesday in Nerkundram. Reportedly the girl suffered from frequent epileptic attacks, and on one such event, she tore her dress. According to media reports, the girl's father strangled her with a nylon rope as he was saddened with her behaviour and surrendered to the Koyambedu police station. The man was reportedly arrested, and the body has been sent for postmortem.
