Before Madras High Court decline TTV Dhinakaran’s stay to conduct a general council meeting, the sidelined deputy general secretary of AIADMK reportedly threatened to remove Edappadi K Palaniswami from power. With three more MLAs joining his faction, TTV Dhinakaran met the TN Governor and requested for a floor test. He reportedly met media in Madurai where he said, “There is no history of traitors winning. Edappadi’s game will be over in 10 days”.
