Reportedly a burglar ran away with 720grams of gold worth Rs.12 lakhs on August 20 after he broke into a railway officials house in Chennai. The police recovered fingerprints from the crime scene and took the accused for an investigation, According to media reports, Dori Babu initially denied to agree, but when offered help from the police to set up his livelihood, he confessed that he hid the gold in a teddy bear and abandoned it in Royapuram with his motorcycle. Babu faces 34 burglary cases filed against him.
