The Karnataka government decided on a sharing project of renting bicycles equipped with GPS and introduce the concept in Bengaluru metro stations, bus terminals. Reportedly, the cabinet wants to promote an eco-friendly mode of transport and also make bicycles as a mode of transport for travelling short distances. According to media reports, people would be able to take the cycle from the station and park it any of the station.
