Three people struck by lightning in two different places in Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur on Tuesday night. Reportedly two school kids were enjoying the rain with their family and were struck by lightning and passed away while their family suffered burnt injuries in Red Hills, Kanchipuram. In a similar event, an engineering student in Tiruvallur was struck by lightning when he was using a mobile phone while it was in charge, a report says.
