In a horrific incident, 20 rag-pickers were brutally tortured for 10 hours with electric shock by a gang, who suspected them to have stolen few wires missing from their office in Bengaluru. They were reportedly beaten up with PVC pipes and cable wires also. A 21-year-old man, who was among the rag-pickers passes away in the spot after being tortured, according to media reports. The torture began at around 10:00 am and ended at 7:00 pm only after one rag-picker died. The gang fled the spot after they came to know about the death.
