Tamil Nadu Assembly on Monday reportedly adopted the Goods and services tax bill. Notably, the bill was adopted amid opposition by the opposition parties. DMK also reportedly staged a walkout in opposition to the bill. Other than Tamil Nadu, Punjab Assembly also passed the GST bill on Monday. However, the GST bill was passed unanimously in Punjab.
