According to a report by The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Tamil Nadu and Kerala has the most number of literate child workers in India. By this report, around 82% of all child workers in Kerala are literate, while in Tamil Nadu the figure is 81.3%. The report also specifies that most of the literate child labourers are employed in the cities.
