Fans held up the Sri Lankan cricket team’s bus in Dambulla on Sunday evening for about 30 minutes after their team's nine-wicket loss to India in the first ODI to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series. Around 50 fans shouted slogans and booed the players forcing security personnel to step in. Notably, Sri Lanka also lost the Test series 3-0 to India.
