According to reports, Japan's SoftBank is in talks with Paytm to invest $1.4 billion in digital wallet startup’s parent company One97 Communications. Stating that the investment would value Paytm $7 billion, the report added, Paytm also had discussions with two other investors for funding. Earlier, reports had suggested that SoftBank will be picking up a 20% stake in the wallet company.
