Sikkim CM extends support to Gorkhaland demand

Extending his support for a separate Gorkhaland state, Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling on Thursday reportedly said it would fulfil the constitutional demand of the people of Darjeeling hills. In a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, he said that creation of a Gorkhaland state will restore permanent peace and prosperity in the region.
