According to reports, a 58-year-old senior journalist was found dead after he incidentally fell into the Adyar river in Jafferkhanpet. C P Pradeepkumar, who was working with News Today, was returning from work on Tuesday when he tripped and fell into the river, police reportedly said. His body was found on Tuesday evening. His wife R. Smitha is an IAS officer and is serving as Director in the Department of Renewable Energy, Puducherry, say reports.
