Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is one of the front-runners in the race for the Indian cricket coach's job. According to Deccan Chronicle reports, a source was quoted as saying by, "Yes, Viru is outspoken on social media. But then, if he is appointed, he would be instructed to keep his mouth shut". Shastri enjoys the support of captain Virat Kohli, Sehwag is BCCI treasurer Anirudh Chaudhary's preferred choice.
