Scientists at NUS create world's first probiotic sour beer

According to reports, scientists at the National University of Singapore have created the world's first probiotic sour beer that incorporates a Lactobacillus strain, isolated from human intestines. Reportedly, the bacterium can neutralise toxins and viruses, as well as regulate the immune system. Further, the researchers added that the final product, which takes around a month to brew, has an alcohol content of about 3.5%
