After protests all over Tamil Nadu against the ban on Jallikattu, Dindigul Collector TG Vinay has reportedly declared a holiday on Friday for the schools in the District. According to reports, Madurai Collector Veera Raghava Rao has also announced that all the schools in the district would remain closed on Friday. Notably, schools in Sivagangai are also declared a holiday on Friday.
