Holding Calcutta High Court judge Justice CS Karnan guilty of contempt of court, The Supreme Court on Tuesday sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment. The Supreme Court also reportedly banned the media from publishing the content of the orders passed by Justice Karnan. The top court further said its order needed to be executed forthwith.
