The Supreme Court on Thursday asked all the Muslim bodies how can triple talaq practice be a matter of faith when they have been asserting its "patriarchal", "bad in theology" and "sinful". The top court stated that "You say it is sinful. How can a sinful practice be said to be a matter of faith... Has it gone on consistently for 1,400 years? The answer is 'yes'....Is it going on in the world? The answer is no,".
