The Russian defence ministry on Friday reportedly said two Russian warships and a submarine in the Mediterranean had fired missiles at ISIS targets in Syria. It reportedly said that Turkish and Israeli military were informed of the missile launches, but it did not mention the US. Notably, Russia suspended its communication channel with the US after a US jet shot down a Syrian warplane on Sunday and accused Washington of failing to issue a warning.
