The Reserve Bank of India has placed an order to print Rs 200 notes, a top government official reportedly said. While the official design was not revealed, images are circulating on social media. Reports suggest that the new Rs 200 notes will help fill the huge demand for cash after demonetisation. Following a consultation with the Finance Ministry, the central bank in March decided to bring in 200-rupee notes, say reports.
