Cyber security experts have reportedly warned that ransomware WannaCry may target Indian banking system soon and alerted organizations, businesses and other sectors to take required precautions and update their systems. They also reportedly said the number of affected organizations is expectedly to rise rapidly. Subhamangala, Cyber Security expert, reportedly said, “Our banks may be affected in a couple of hours. We are expecting it and have informed the banks, since most of our ATMs run on the windows operating system which is the operating system affected by WannaCry.”
