The central board of trustees on Saturday reportedly rejected the proposal to reduce the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) from 12% to 10%. According to reports, the proposal was rejected unanimously by the board. Notably, the employees contribute 12 percent of their basic salary while the employer's chip in 8.33% of the basic wage.
