Police have reportedly lathi-charged the protesters in Old Mahabalipuram Road on Wednesday. According to reports, several people, including students, have gathered protesting against the ban on Jallikattu in Sholinganallur. Notably, the number of the students protesting at the Marina beach has increased substantially.
