With PM Modi’s two-day visit to US beginning on Sunday, India hopes to secure an agreement on the purchase of 22 unarmed surveillance drones from US. Notably, PM Modi meets President Donald Trump for the first time. If the Indian navy gets the naval variant of the Predator drone, it would be the first such purchase by a country that is not a member of the NATO alliance.
