Chennai police commissioner A K Viswanathan said an investigation is on after a petrol bomb was thrown at Chennai's Teynampet police station on Thursday. Viswanathan reportedly visited the spot and said, “It was hurled on the pathway. We are investigating based on CCTV images. The motive isn't clear yet”. The police commissioner, who visited the spot along with senior officials, said they were looking into different angles as part of the investigation.
