South Korea’s defence ministry has reportedly said that North Korea on Thursday launched a series of what appeared to be “surface-to-ship” cruise missiles. Adding that surveillance has been stepped up against possible threats, Seoul reportedly said, “North Korea fired multiple unidentified projectiles, assumed to be surface-to-ship missiles, this morning from the vicinity of Wonsan, Gangwon Province.”
