Frank Noronha, the Principal Spokesperson of Government of India on Monday asserted that the centre has no plans to link land records with Aadhaar. Notably, the statement comes a day after several media outlets reported of government having such plans in its pipeline. The media outlets also showed a leaked image of a letter signed by a secretary as their proof. Mr Frank has also called the letter “fake and mischievous”.
