New DRS rules will result in teams not losing review on umpire's call

According to reports, the ICC's Chief Executives' Committee on Monday approved the cricketing committee’s recommendations on DRS reviews, which will now result in teams not losing their DRS reviews on an 'umpire's call' verdict in LBWs. Further, the 80-over top-up of reviews in Test cricket will be removed, and DRS will now be made available for T20Is. Notably, the new regulations will be effective October 1.
