Net worth of Asia's richest man rises by $2.8 billion overnight

The net worth of China's richest man and founder of e-commerce major Alibaba, Jack Ma, surged up to $2.8 billion overnight as his company’s forecast of sales growth topped every analyst’s estimate. The 52-year-old entrepreneur is now Asia's richest person and 14th wealthiest in the world with a fortune of $41.8 billion. Following the forecast, his company Alibaba Group Holding added $42 billion to its market cap.
