Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has reportedly urged for the inclusion of a chapter on the Emergency of 1975. Speaking during an event on Sunday, Naidu said, "there should be a chapter on Emergency...to make the younger generation know about the murder of democracy and how it was restored". He also added that younger generations hardly remembered the emergency period of 1975.
