According to IPL history, the table toppers, Mumbai Indians might not win the tournament this season. The team that has finished at the top after the league stage has never won the league since 2009. Rajasthan Royals is the only team to lift the trophy after finishing on top of the table in 2008. Mumbai will have to defy history to capture their third IPL title. MI will face RPS in the first qualifier at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday.
